Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically skilled Maintenance Technician to support equipment reliability and facility upkeep in our dietary supplement manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on production equipment used to manufacture products such as supplement gummies and other nutritional products. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, hands-on, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on production equipment

  • Perform repairs on mixers, conveyors, pumps, tanks, depositors, packaging equipment, and other manufacturing machinery

  • Support changeovers and equipment setup as needed to keep production running smoothly

  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions

Preventive Maintenance (PM)

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks per PM calendar

  • Inspect equipment for wear, damage, leaks, or unsafe conditions and address issues proactively

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and equipment status

Facility Maintenance

  • Assist with general facility maintenance including minor repairs, lighting, plumbing, doors, floors, and basic building upkeep

  • Maintain organized maintenance areas, tools, and spare parts inventory

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized service is required

Safety, GMP, and Compliance

  • Follow all safety procedures including lockout/tagout (LOTO), PPE requirements, and safe chemical handling

  • Work in accordance with GMP standards and support sanitation and allergen-control practices

  • Ensure repairs are completed in a way that protects product safety and prevents contamination

  • Communicate equipment issues, downtime, and repair status clearly to production leadership

Maintenance Manager / Production Manager


Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems (motors, belts, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, etc.)

  • Ability to read and follow basic maintenance procedures and documentation

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

  • Reliable attendance and strong sense of urgency when responding to downtime

Preferred

  • Experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or dietary supplement manufacturing

  • Familiarity with packaging equipment and production line support

  • Basic electrical troubleshooting experience (sensors, switches, relays, VFD awareness)

  • Welding, fabrication, or HVAC experience (a plus)

  • Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance tracking

  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, and work in tight spaces

  • Ability to respond to equipment issues in production areas (noise, powders, varying temperatures)


Work Environment

This role works in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, noise, dust/powders, and cleaning chemicals. PPE and safety protocols are required in designated areas.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Technician to support quality testing and compliance in our dietary supplement manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for performing routine inspections, sampling, basic laboratory testing, and documentation to ensure finished products—such as supplement gummies and other nutritional products—meet established quality and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities

Incoming Materials & Sampling

  • Receive, sample, and inspect incoming raw materials and packaging components

  • Verify material identity, labeling, lot numbers, COAs, and overall condition

  • Maintain proper sample labeling, storage, and traceability

In-Process Quality Checks

  • Perform in-process checks during manufacturing to ensure products meet specifications

  • Conduct line clearance checks and verify correct materials are being used

  • Monitor and document critical parameters such as weight checks, appearance, and consistency

  • Support gummy production quality checks including texture, visual defects, and consistency of piece size

Finished Product Inspection & Release Support

  • Inspect finished goods for appearance, count/weight accuracy, packaging integrity, and labeling accuracy

  • Assist with finished product sampling and retain sample management

  • Support product release decisions by providing accurate documentation and test results

Documentation & Compliance

  • Complete QC documentation accurately and in real time (logs, batch records, check sheets, deviations)

  • Support GMP compliance and maintain audit-ready records

  • Identify and report out-of-spec results, nonconformances, and production issues promptly

  • Assist with investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts

Lab & Equipment Support

  • Operate and maintain basic QC equipment (scales, calipers, pH meter, moisture analyzer, etc.)

  • Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and calibration verification as required

  • Maintain a clean and organized QC workspace

Quality Manager / QC Supervisor


Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)

  • 1+ year experience in a QC, manufacturing, lab, or regulated production environment

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures

  • Comfortable with repetitive inspections and documentation requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly with production and management teams

  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks

Preferred

  • Experience in dietary supplements, food, beverage, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical manufacturing

  • Familiarity with GMP documentation and controlled forms

  • Experience with gummy products, confectionery, or similar dosage forms

  • Basic understanding of quality systems (deviations, CAPAs, holds, traceability)


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed

  • Ability to work in a production environment (noise, powders, varying temperatures)


Work Environment

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to support cleanliness, safety, and compliance in our dietary supplement manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production rooms, equipment, and common areas to help ensure a safe, GMP-compliant environment for the manufacturing of products such as gummy supplements and other nutritional products.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily and scheduled cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, utensils, and facility surfaces

  • Follow written SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) and site sanitation schedules

  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed for thorough cleaning (as trained)

  • Clean and sanitize processing equipment used in supplement manufacturing (mixers, tanks, conveyors, gummy equipment, etc.)

  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, drains, tables, and high-touch areas in production and warehouse spaces

  • Properly handle, mix, and use sanitation chemicals according to labeling and safety requirements

  • Complete required sanitation documentation accurately (checklists, logs, chemical concentration records, etc.)

  • Support GMP compliance by maintaining a clean, organized, audit-ready work environment

  • Identify and report equipment issues, maintenance needs, or sanitation concerns to supervisors

  • Follow all safety requirements including PPE, lockout/tagout awareness, and chemical handling procedures

  • Assist with waste removal and disposal of cleaning materials per facility guidelines

  • Help with periodic deep cleans, changeovers, and special projects as needed


Qualifications

Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on R&D Formulations Technician to support the development, optimization, and scale-up of dietary supplement gummy formulations. This role will work closely with R&D Formulators to prepare lab samples, run bench-top trials, evaluate ingredients, and document results. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced lab environment with multiple active projects.

Key Responsibilities

Formulation & Lab Support

  • Assist with sample preparation and testing of new and existing gummy supplement products

  • Support R&D Formulators in developing new gummy formulas, including flavor, texture, and stability improvements

  • Prepare bench-top batches for feasibility trials, reformulations, and troubleshooting

  • Execute accurate weighing, staging, and mixing of ingredients using lab scales and measuring equipment

  • Perform and document scale calibration checks and basic lab equipment verification

Gummy-Specific Formulation Responsibilities

  • Support gummy formulation development using common gummy systems such as:

    • Pectin, gelatin, and other gelling systems

    • Sweeteners and syrups (ex: sucrose, glucose syrup, tapioca syrup, sugar-free systems where applicable)

  • Assist with evaluation of gummy performance attributes including:

    • Texture/chew, firmness, stickiness/tack, elasticity, and overall mouthfeel

    • Set time, demolding performance, and flow/handling characteristics

    • Moisture sensitivity, sweating/weeping, crystallization, and stability concerns

  • Support trials involving gummy functional ingredients (vitamins, minerals, botanicals, acids) and help identify formulation challenges such as:

    • Off-notes, bitterness, metallic taste, and lingering aftertaste

    • Ingredient-driven texture issues (softening, hardening, graininess, phase separation)

Ingredient Familiarity

  • Become familiar with raw materials and their physical characteristics, including:

    • Organoleptic evaluation (color, smell, taste)

    • Bulk density, tapped density, particle size, flow characteristics

  • Work with flavor systems and understand typical usage rates and dosing ranges

  • Assist with selection and evaluation of functional support ingredients used in gummies such as:

    • Acids, buffering agents, emulsifiers, plasticizers, humectants

    • Colors, flavors, sweeteners, and taste modulation ingredients

  • Support taste-masking strategies using bitterness blockers, sweetener systems, and masking agents

Testing, Documentation & Organization

  • Mix and track multiple test batches and maintain clear identification of samples

  • Record batch sheets, observations, and results using good documentation practices

  • Assist with maintaining lab cleanliness, organization, and safe handling of ingredients

  • Communicate results and issues clearly to the R&D team to support fast iteration

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum Associate’s Degree (Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Nutrition, or related field preferred)

  • Ability to take direction from chemists/formulators and follow procedures precisely

  • Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision once trained

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, listening)

  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Comfortable working hands-on with powders, liquids, flavors, and food-grade ingredients

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with gummy, confectionery, or food formulation (lab or production)

  • Familiarity with dietary supplement dosage forms (gummies, powders, capsules, tablets)

  • Experience with basic bench-top lab equipment (mixers, hot plates, thermometers, pH meter, etc.)

  • Understanding of ingredient interactions (acids, minerals, sweeteners, gelling systems)
